I watched as uncle Dom sunk to his knees and pressed his hands flat against each other.

"Please, Barlion, Please." He begged.

All it would take to get to Dorian was a single shove, but I hesitated. Squeezing the handle of Sir Hunder's sword, I tried to reason with myself.

Dorian deserves to have his head chopped off for even thinking to touch my wife. Yet, here I am, hesitating to drop the sword on his throat and end his pathetic life.

Father must have seen my hesitation because he marched in to the room and snatched the sword out of my hand.

"Hunder, take this scum in to one of the dungeons. He will await his fate there." King Viper roared before he he handed the knight his sword and walked out.

"What?" Victor outrageously yelled. "What do you mean await his fate? You should have his head on a like right now and get it over with."

"Enough!" Father snapped at Victor. "Dorian will receive the same court time as any other man. His case will be presented first."
