💖LILLIAN’S POV💝

“Hello, please who is this?” He said on the phone

“Son, I really wanna hear your voice, the caller replied

“Mum, i thought I told you I am not a kid anymore so stop disturbing me, my voices are still the same please, He said arrogantly and hung up

I stared at him and shook my head

Gosh! You are the worst person I had ever known, I said to him and he shot a stare at me.

Hey, Scott, do you realize I am still here standing? Arianna asked angrily

“Ohh, so what were you talking about? He asked facing Arianna

“Hmmm, you know what; never mind, the lady said and walked away angrily

Immediately, I heaved a sigh

“Whats wrong? he questioned

“Why are you this arrogant? I asked angrily

“I told you I am not arrogant, get that into your skull, He half yelled

Shut your mouth, you need to be taught a lesson for this, why do you just talk anyone like you dont care about other peoples feeling? I questioned

You know what; I cant afford to waste my time speaking to you, He said arrogantly and stood up

Where the hell are you going to? I asked

Its none of your business, miss com., He paused and walked away

Gosh! so annoying, I uttered and hissed

Suddenly, Nicky walked up to my seat and sat on my table

Baby girl, so how is your seat partner? She asked smiling

“Arggghh gosh! That guy is so annoying, I said 

She laughed 

I knew, everyone who tries sitting with him will always end up changing their seat just because of his arrogant behavior, she said

Oh my! really? I asked surprisingly

“Yeah, I think its now your turn to vacate the seat for him, She said as he chuckled 

“Hmm…me? Like, you mean me? Really! You mean I will change my seat because of that idiot? Hmm, I think you do not know me; instead, he would change his seat because of me. I boasted

“Hmm, stop making mouth Lily, I knew this guy before you do, I knew him than you do, he likes frustrating peoples life, She said

I chuckled

He has shown me all his behavior already, so just dont worry yourself best friend, trust me, if he feels he can frustrate peoples life, then I am his senior, I said tapping her arms

“Hmmm, baby, are you sure about this? She asked

“Yeah, dont worry, I said assuring her and she nodded

“Alright dear, so let me take you around the school, its gonna be fun, She said smiling

Oh, wow! Thats true, lets go, I said standing up

She also stood up and we walked out together

She took me around the school and it was fun as she has said

We got to the field where the guys were playing football and I stopped immediately.

Hey baby, lets wait and watch their match, I said to her with a smile and she nodded

Thank you sweetie, I said to her happily

I really love watching football match. I find it so exciting

I stood quietly as I watched their moves

“You love watching football right, She asked

Oh, yeah sure, I really love it especially Champions league, world cups and all other football match on TV, I said to her

Wow! Really, She replied

“Yeah, I said as we continued watching

After some minutes, they finished playing the first match

Our class boys that are next to play with the winner as they began stepping into the field

“Lets go Lily, She said dragging me but suddenly, I sighted that arrogant jerk

“Wait please, can he play? I asked furrowing my brow

“Who? Nicky asked

“That arrogant jerk over there, I said pointing at him

Oh, you mean Scott? I do not really know but I do hear he is very good in sport activities, She said

“Please, Nicky, let us wait a little bit, I really wanna know how he plays, I said pleading with her

“Hmmm, alright, She said and dropped my hands

“Let’s go and have our seat over there, my legs are paining me, She said walking towards a bench, which was directly opposite to the field

Ok, no problem, I said following her

Not long after, we got to the bench and sat down

The second match began and I focused on the match but mainly on him

I noticed him as he signals to the guy with the ball to pass the ball to him and he did

I focused on his moves

To be honest, his moves were excellent. He plays like a star.

Not long after, he shot the ball into the net post of their opponent and there was really a loud noise

“Goal!”  I said standing up and jubilating

“Hey, seat down, will you? Nicky said as she drags me to seat back

“He scored it, I said to her smiling

Hmm, you mean Scott right? She asked

“Yeah, I replied smiling happily

Butwhy are you this happy? She asked suddenly and I came back to my senses instantly

“Gosh, I muttered and sat down gently

Babe, why aren’t you answering me (paused and furrowed her brow) or do you perhaps have feelings for., She tried saying but I interrupted her immediately

Gosh! Never will Iand stop saying nonsense, I half-yelled

Hmm, why are you now yelling at me, girl? Its just a question, dont get me wrong, I was just wondering, thats all, She said

“Why would you think of such thing? I questioned

“Ok, Im sorry, I just need to ask because of what I am seeing in you right now, She said

“What you are seeing in me? I asked

“Hmm, never mind, do not bother, She said and looked away

Hey, tell me now, I said tapping her shoulder

Babe, leave me alone, let me be, If I talk now, you will yell at me again, so there is no need for me to  explain further to you, She said

“Ok, I promise I wont yell at you, just tell me, I said

“Are you sure? She asked

“Yeah, I nodded

“Hmmm, you know what? As I seeing you now, you seem too interested in things regarding him, like it seems that you like him, She said firmly

What? How would I like a jerk like him? Never, you have got the wrong thinking, I said

“Well, I dont know, I am just saying what I noticed in you, She said

I heaved a sigh

“Let’s go to class, I said standing up

“No, lets watch this match finish, it seems interesting and I think it is the last one for today, She said dragging me back to sit

“Fine, I said and sat down 

I focused on the match though still thinking about what Nicky told me

How could I start to like him?

“This arrogant jerk? I questioned my thought

It is not possible, never in my life would I fall in love with him, I thought again

I did not even know when they finished the second match because I was not really concentrating

I suddenly ran out of my thought when Nicky tapped my arms and told me it was already break over and then, I noticed our class boys jubilating

“Wow, I think they are the winner, I thought smiling

“What was the score? I asked facing her

“Arent you here watching it too? She asked surprisingly

“Ohhh, sorry, my mind was not really here again, I said

“Alright, its just 2-0, they didn’t finish because it’s break over already

“Who scored the second goal? I asked again

“Why is that your concern? (She paused) Well, I couldnt recall, She said struggling to remember

“Ohh, alright, I am sorry, I said

“Wait, I think it’s that your crush, She said

“Who is my crush? I asked with a frown

“Scott, She said and stood up to avoid me hitting her

“Ohh my God, will you stop these nonsense, He is not my crush and he will never be, I said staring at her in annoyance

She laughed

Fine, I am sorry, but truly stop denying your feelings, it really showed in your behavior, She said looking serious

Girl, He is just my friend and seatmate, thats all, I said

“Hmm, and your crush right? She said teasing me

“Hey, stop Nicky, Im serious right now, I have no feelings for him, I said in a serious tone

“Well, if you say so then, I have heard you, lover girl, She said and I shot a stare at her

“Ohh, Im sorry, its a mistake, a slip of tongue, She said laughing

“You are not serious, I said as she was still laughing

“Lets go, I said to her and she followed behind

“Hey commoner, I heard a familiar voice from behind

I looked at the direction and noticed it’s that arrogant jerk

He was shirtless due to the heat

He held his shirt in his hands with a bottle of water

To be sincere, he is somewhat cute; he even has six packs, gosh! such a lovely body, I thought smiling

“Hey why are you smiling, I thought you are gonna get angry at me like before, He said breaking my thought

Ohh gosh! So I have been thinking

“Idiot, I said rolling my eyes at him

“You mean me? he asked

Yeah, who else, if not you? I asked

Oh, are you sure? I thought it was her you were referring to, not me, He said pointing at Nicky

“Gosh! See this guy, so crazy, I thought

“It can never be me, I think it’s you, Nicky said to him

Hey girl, I was not talking to you please, He said arrogantly to her

“Hey, what the fuck! Are not you the one that pointed at me at first? She asked angrily

Shut it, Get the fuck off, He said arrogantly to her

“Hey, Mr. Man, are you alright? Do you realize whom you are talking to anyhow? I asked angrily

Who the hell is she? He asked me

Hey, watch your tongues, Nicky snapped

She seems so hurt by his words

Just look at the way you are talking to her arrogantly, I said angrily

“Did I? He asked

“No oh, you did not, idiot, I said and hissed

Lets go Lily, Nicky said to me

“I’m sorry baby, I said to her

“Alright, no problem, She said 

“Ok dear, lets go, I said and tried going but he said something which made us to stop walking.

“Wait please,” he said

“What? I asked facing him

“I have something to say before you go, he said
