I have slept at their place for three straight days after that attack. Luckily, I healed fast.

What seemed unreal was Hardurlf’s regenerating capabilities. After Fenris broke his shoulder, he healed in a day even though too many wounds were on his body. I bit my fingers while waiting for Madam’s presence inside the office.

I’ve been dealing with many deliveries today, and I can feel the tiredness in my bones.

“Aren’t you going home?” Madam’s voice echoes inside the quiet office. I fix how I sit on the office chair, and she giggles at me.

“I-I’m waiting for you, madam.” I stand and get her bag on the corner. Madam doesn’t want her shoulder bag in the locker because she’s always leaving the office any time in the day for many meetings.

We both logged out at the front office as she held my shoulder. However, so much tingling pain seeps in. I took off her hand because it was later on burning on my skin!
