Chapter 49

"What is Athalia still doing inside the supernatural's border?" Kala asked Blade. He did not answer his question and kept his head low. He was not able to bring Athalia back when Kala asked him to. 

Kala asked Blade to bring his daughter back before the thirteen dinners began, however, Athalia does not want to come home just yet. She says that she will attend the dinner in her father's place. Blade knows that Kala would be furious if he finds out what his daughter said so Blade cannot say a word. 

"You are not answering my question, Blade," Kala said again. Blade gulped when Kala lifted his face, groping his cheeks and squeezing them rigorously. Kala looked at Blade sharply, his eyes were like spikes that can kill you in an instant, his eyes alone scares people not to talk about how his body is built. Kala is as hard as a rock. 

Kala scoffed and let go of Blade, "Of course, you cannot talk when I hold like that, no? It cannot be helped then," K
