“Father? What does my mother look like?”

Father, who was holding my hand and was busy explaining about the Kingdom of Peace right before us, stopped in his tracks then look down at me. I smiled, waiting for him to answer my question when he let out a sigh.

“Before answering your question, have you understand what will be your role as a chief one day?”

I didn’t get that. My head tilted to the side, giving him a curious stare. Father must have figured I wasn’t listening all this time.

“Maybe, you’ll understand when you grow up.” I heard he mumbled before pulling me. I wasn’t sure where he is going to take me but after a couple of minutes we stopped from our hike.
