Chapter 3

Keziah's Pov

     Days passed  I noticed something strange had changed in me. My hair color turns into blonde with gold linings, my skin turns pale, i also noticed that i became taller. Even serenity noticed it she keeps on asking me if i dyed my hair or did i use some whitening soap i just answered her no because even me I don't know how it happened. I went to school and enter my room after our discussion it's lunch time me and serenity are both eating our lunch when the cafeteria door suddenly opened and the others went silent. Someone entered, it's the so called queen bee Maxinne Anderson and her friends. They went straight to the line and they suddenly pushed a nerd an fell down together with her orders. 

   

   "You're blocking my way nerd" Maxinne said. I looked at the nerd. I feel sorry for her, she doesn't deserve her this she's always bullied by these clowns. Why do I call them clowns? Because of their make up. I stood up and approached the nerd. I took my handkerchief and gave it to her and helped her stand up.

  "You okay? I asked.

  "Y-yeah I'm okay. T-thank you" She said then use my handkerchief to clean herself. 

  "What do you think you're doing bitch? Why are you helping her?" Maxinne said. But ignored her. But suddenly she took a orange juice and poured it on the girl's head. How pathetic.

  "There now you're clean HAHAHA" She said and laugh and also the other students. My blood heats up from what she did. I took orange juice from the table near me and I also poured it on her head. She was shocked on what i did.

  "You! How dare you!" She shouted and pulled my hair. 

  "Stop it!" I shouted. But she continued pulling my hair. When i had enough i pushed her but I did not think she would reach the end of the cafeteria. I was shocked. I looked at maxinne and I saw blood on her head. H-how did i do that? How did it happen! I looked at my hands did i really did that? 

  "Monster! You're a monster!" Someone shouted. I looked at the person who shouted. It's maxinne's friends. I looked around, they looked at me with fear, even serenity. I was so scared I ran out of the cafeteria and went straight to the parking lot and drive home.

  When I got home I quickly entered the house catching my breath. Am I really the one who did that to maxinne? Am I really a monster? No im not a monster, I'm a human! While thinking I suddenly heard a crash on the second floor because of curiosity i went up stairs to find out what is it. I heard a crash again while thinking I suddenly heard a crash on the second floor. I heard another crash but it is now coming from my parents' room. I opened the door to check it out, when I opened it i saw a guy wearing a black cloak the same person that i saw last month! And now i already know that it's a guy. 

  "Who are you? What are you doing in my parents room?" I asked but he didn't answered but instead he lift his right arm and a black orb came out of his hands. I was shocked.  I-its true! I'm not imagining it's true! The man smirked at me and throw the black orb to me.

  "AAAAHHHHHHH" I shouted i thought it's my end but no. I didn't feel anything. I opened my eyes and i was schocked at what i saw, it's dad standing in front of me while raising his two hands we're being protected by a fire, i think this is a shield. I was still in shock when i saw a lightning ball going towards the man in black cloak. I looked for who made it and I was shocked who it was, it's my mom. The heck who are these people and what are they. Mom throws a lightning ball and daggers to the man but the man maked a black shield to protect himself from mom's attacks and attacked mom back. After that mom makes a big lightning ball ang throws it to the man unluckily the man didn't avoid it. He scream in pain until he turns into ashes. I can't believe what happened im still in shock when i felt someone's shaking my shoulders.

   "Are you okay princess? Does anything hurt?" Dad said while looking at me so as mom.

   "How did you do that? What are you?" I asked. They both looked at each other as if they're talking through their mind. They both looked at me and smile and told me to go with them downstairs. Why does it seem like nothing happened earlier?!

  "I know darling you're confused on what you see, we'll explain everything to you. We hope that you will understand" Mom said. I just nodded.

  "Princess i want to confess something to you I hope you do not get mad" Dad said. I'm so confused but i stayed silent waiting for their reasons and explanations.

  "Many years passed a very important woman asked me a favor. A favor that i accepted wholeheartedly" Dad started. I reamined silent and continue listening. 

  "She asked me to take care of her daughter. To take her awayy from the chaos that's happening in their world. Many wanted to take that child because of the power she possessed so her mother decided to take her away even though it will hurt her" Dad said. I looked at him with confusion. What is he trying to say?

  "Until now i still tooked a good care of the child, i treated her as my own daughter" He continued while looking at me intently. I don't know but i feel pang in my chest. Is he referring to me?

  "Why are you telling this to me dad?" I still asked even though I already know the answer but still i want to hear it from him.

  He held my hand tightly. "Because that child i was talking about is you princess" He said. Then my eyes become blurry because of my tears. My hands are shaking. I can't believe this. I-im adopted? If I'm not their daughter then who am I?

  "W-why? Why'd they take me away from them? Don't they love me?" I asked my voice is also shaking. 

  "No princess they love you so much. They sacrifice their lives for you to live peacefully" He said. I still can't believe it. I want to be mad, I want to shout at to them for hidding it from me. But part of me understands the situation, part of me still thanked them for loving and taking care of me. So instead of being angry with them, I hugged them both tightly. 

  "Thank you mom, dad for treating me as your own daughter. I'm very thankful that i both have you" I said while sobbing. They both hugged me back while caressing my back. 

  "No we're thankful that we have you in our lives. A very sweet, loving, kind and beautiful child we are greatful" Mom said while crying. I dried my tears and smile at them.

  "But who really am i mom, dad? What are we? Who are my real parents?" I asked. I really want to know who I really am. 

  "We don't die by just a simple weapon we die because of silver knives because we are not humans because we are immortals." He answered. Immortals? What is that?

  "Our world is composed of people with magic. Vampires, Wolves, Witches, Warlocks, Fairies etc. But our race is the highest of them all" He said.

   "What are we then?" I asked.

   "Demons with special abilities" He answered. While looking at me carefully. I was shocked. Demon? I'm a demon? 

    "The Underworld was once ruled by a very generous and powerful Family. The Bloodstone's. The last ruler are Queen Athena Evangeline Bloodstone and King Drake Javier Bloodstone. They're family ruled that world for more than a centuries. But their ruling has come to an end when the queen gave birth to a child that will destroy the whole world. That made the enemies feared so they attacked the kingdom to kill the child but suddenly the child has escaped. They we're all killed no one in the royal family lived except for one. The powerful child that escaped still there. They believe that the princess will never comeback and reclaim her throne to save her people. But me? I believe that the princess will comeback and end this war" He said. Hmm i hope the princess comes back so that she can avenge her family and save her people. But is he telling me this- wait. I looked at dad. He smiled.

   "Yes princess you are that child. You are Princess Aliyah Savannah Bloodstone. The Last Heiress Of The Underworld"
