Where are my vampire diaries fans?!
I so badly wanted to end it with “hello, brother.” If you know, you know.
This is the end of book one.
I know, I’m sorry for the small blimp of turmoil at the end but did you really think I would kill Damien? He's my fav (shh dont tell Jax). JK, I love them both for her differently.
There’s so much more to Hayley’s journey. I took a few weeks (probably a writer’s block if I want to be REAL honest) and asked if I wanted to split it. Sorry for the long delay, I went back and forth a lot. Especially where or what or how I want to deal with The Vampire King since he's so important to who Hayley is and what she can become. There's so many scenarios I want to play with. >:)
So, I decided to stop here because the next part is no longer about the discovery of WHO she is but WHAT she can do.
I hope you’ve enjoyed it so far and hope to start providing content for the second book.

The Last Wolf PART TWO
PART TWO: The Vampire King I made a blood oath. A life of a life. I didn't care at the time because I needed him back, but it came at a high price. JaxI spit the blood in his face and laugh. “No matter how many times you command me, the answer is the same. I. Don’t. Know.” The Alpha growls, his eyes glowing red. “She’s my mate. I have to find her.” I shake my head, shifting my shoulders. They were sore from being chained to the wall by my wrists. “She’s not.” “We need to let him shift so he can heal.” I glare at Elliot behind the Alpha. His face was impassive as always. He was the only one left who didn’t desert the Alpha, even Niko left and that was surprising. A felt an ache in my chest that they had left me and Meghan behind to suffer the consequences of their actions.I know the Alpha didn’t have my sister locked in the dungeon like me, but I’m sure she was stripped of the luxury of the pack house and her job at the daycare. The Alpha growls again. “He can suffer. They figured out how to resist my commands before. He’s doing it now.” My brother thins his lips, but nods.

DamienI close my eyes as Hayley’s screams start up again, the wood of the chair groaning as my knuckles turn white from clenching the arms of it.My brother clicks his tongue across from me in disgust. “I would have thought you had learned your lesson.” He sat calmly, picking at his pants as if he was bored. His long fingers were sharpened at the end, making him look more like the monster he truly is. I glare at him now. “And what lesson is that?”“That a woman makes you weak. I felt his warm body pressed against mine, but it did little to ease the coldness that had settled inside me. It was an odd thing to feel alone in your own body, I had gone almost 18 years without Aurora’s presence. Now, I couldn’t remember a day before her. The eggs in my mouth quickly taste like ash the minute he comes strutting through the doorway. “Ah! the little wolf is finally awake.” He sounds gitty. My stomach sours at his words and I growl. “Call me that again, watch what happens.” He grins. “Hard to listen to your bark when I know you don’t have a bite.” Brennan cackles and the fork in my hand bends from the strength of my grip. Damien stands from the table and puts himself between us. “Is there something you need, brother?” Brennan raises an eyebrow. “I can move freely in my house without a desired location or plan in mind.”

AERON Snapping my fingers for their attention, Andrus and Iris finally break apart. “Finally. You didn’t swallow her tongue this much when we were parting for the Hunt.” Iris giggles while Andrus growls in warning at me, pulling her tighter against his chest. “I knew I was going to find her immediately after.” I laugh. “Yes, because that plan went so well.
