While I slumbered on my bed, the sound of the door opening reached my subconscious. I squinted and opened my eyes, noticing that my bedroom door was ajar, revealing the path to my living room.

After gazing out of the bedroom for a few moments, I finally caught sight of Fabian's arrival. A broad smile spread across his face as he walked into the room, extending his arms wide, ready to embrace me.

I responded with a gentle smile, sitting up and extending my own arms to welcome him. Right there, I eagerly embraced him as he approached, almost lifting me off the bed.

"Sleepy head," he whispered as he drew nearer, holding me tight.

"Hey," I replied, bursting into laughter.

He chuckled and released me, taking a seat beside me. "How are you? You look absolutely beautiful," he complimented, gently running his fingers across my face.

Blushing slightly, I lowered my head shyly. "Thank you. I'm sorry I wasn't awake when you arrived. I was feeling a bit bored and ended up dozing off. I
