Chapter 29: Limits

Rony managed to keep them safe for quite a time. Now, he could hear the raging outside the walls. Fire breathing dragons were announcing a child and he felt the place were burning. 

The dragons must have felt the new walls erecting at their places and they knew already that there were intruders in the place. He thought it was impossible to create such magic but here he was - building from the inside. The first wall he created shattered like broken glass and he felt that the place trembled the moment it collapsed. 

He knew it would happen. He was not strong enough and Los Barrios did not face such creatures. He thought if he could create walls that thick, he could feel the whole place. Yes, he did somehow but it was impossible. The magic that held them safe was strong but not enough against the dragon outside. 

So he erected inside walls and tunnels. The first wall was just a distraction and he made sure that they were pro
