His last talk with Elena built some barriers between them. Elena avoided him and since, he noticed that the Time Palace's front door was never opened again - except when Elena came out.
He took a scroll one night just to watch his army made their preparation for war. He saw that Elena's window was opened and he could see her standing in the terrace, looking over the place. She was watching too and somehow, it made him happy. She was still with him. That just only meant that she was not over with them too.
