Elena was stunned and scared after the events from last night and from what Derek had said. When Elena was young, she was never interested in men. It’s not like she didn’t want love, she did. But she was always waiting for an ideal man. One like Jim.

She still wondered what she found in John that she married him. But since the day she had been with Aslan, it’s like she was a magnet for men. Whether it was at the parties, events, or anywhere, men will gawk at her. Did they think she was wealthy or they just thought that because she was with Aslan she was nothing but a whore?
