"Are you serious, Daisy?" I question annoyed.

"Why? Why should we listen to you? You're just a mere person right now" I say still erect with the crutch.

I look at Nella who has a devastated expression on her face and leave the room without a glance at Daisy.
"Mom. Why didn't you stand for us there?" I ask as we enter mom's room.
"Love, I'm sure you noticed her attitude. If I had sided with you she would burst in fits of anger and do something more annoying" mom explains but I ignore her explanation.
