You're beautiful

“How is she Dr. Marshall?” I ask after he finished examining the person everyone told was my mother. 

“She’s still the same, Dear” he says closing the medical file “Although her reading are stable we can’t really say what’s stopping her from waking up” he says. I nod understanding. 

“Argon wants you to go to this address” Dr. Marshall; father of Argon hands me a folded slip. 

Argon is my potential boyfriend. He’s been visiting me every two days ever since I visited his hospital. 

“Thanks doctor” I say and he furrows his brows. I realise my mistake “Mr. Marshall” I readdress him the way he told me to. He smiles and walks out of the room. 

I sit on the couch and look at mother 

“Are you really my mom?” I ask again hoping she’ll wake up and answer me but as always I get disappointed.

I unfold the paper and read it
