TJ’s POV

Shifting was the only thing I could think of doing, the very thing I said I would not do, I did. All in my plan to bring down my mother, I had actually played into her hands and had started the ball rolling into what she wanted.

The pitiful looks from Erik was just too much and I had to go, as my paws dug into the Earth, soil pressing against my pads, large raindrops began to fall, the rain didn’t bother me but I was feeling uneasy about the giant black clouds in the distant.

Then I heard it the first rumble, far away but it automatically made my tail go between my legs, I tried to close my eyes and think of the pack house Lowe had shown me but nothing happened, a second rumble echoed in my ears and I could feel it getting closer.

Panicking, I look for somewhere to hide and find a large stuck out rock, I hid myself under the edge, trying to keep out of the rain and continuing to focus on my new home. My heart was beating faster and fa
