Saxon's threatening growl made her take a step backwards, "They're here?!" he asked, and she shook her head. "Not yet, but the first group arrived about an hour ago, and they're all taking about it," she said, and he started to stand.

Haden gently placed a hand on his arm, giving him a small shake of his head, "They're not here yet, Sax," he said in the voice that I knew had such a calming effect, and Saxon paused, looking at him. "Trin is just giving us a heads up, so we can plan and react accordingly when they are, right Trin?" Haden continued, looking at her, and she nodded quickly again.

"Exactly, I thought you should know as far in advance as possible," she agreed, and Saxon sighed, sitting back down and staring at her for a long moment. "Thank you, Trin," he said after a while, and she bowed her head towards him, before giving me an apologetic smile and turning to leave.
