Hours passed and Josh was still in the jail cell. During that time he had expected that the police officers who had arrested him would had come to his cell and tell him the reason they had arrested him, but to his surprise no one came to tell him.

Not having any information about why he's being held at the police station intensified the anxiety. If only he had a way to contact someone for help, like his grandfather. But being isolated in the cell, he didn't have a phone, so there was no way to talk with him.
