Chapter 37 - The results
Ethan POV
Amelia got home around midnight and I was already in bed. My mind is completely mushed and I don’t want to worry her so I pretend to be asleep.
She walks quietly into the bathroom and I hear her turning the shower on. I try and clear my brain and sleep but I wasn’t successful. Tomorrow I will be booking the DNA test and then we can go have it done. I need to sort this out and then I can tell Amelia. I don’t like hiding anything from her.
She’s learning to trust me after the kidnapping and I don’t want to ruin that progress.
