Colleen's POV

I wanted to cry that very moment when he was telling me about what had happened two years ago. He was facing a problem then and I didn't do anything to help him. I got mad at him without knowing that he was in a tight situation as well. I could feel his sincerity when he said he was sorry and what he said before I was out in my sleep.

He wanted me to stay longer. He wanted me to be with him and our baby. I tried not to cry, I didn't want him to know that I was still awake and had heard everything. Although it was his confession, I still didn't want him to feel a burden. It must be his way of lessening the weight on his shoulders.

It was three days ago, and every time I look at him, I can't help but feel sorry for both of us. But, I didn't want to think that way anymore. Starting that night and the following nights, he had been telling me about him and what he had been doing after we got married.
