Her husband was hugging another woman. This shattered her trust into pieces. Even after everything, she never questioned him because her love was greater than the doubt. And that's what she got in return? Her husband had another woman in his arms.
Feeling someone's eyes on him, Daniyal raised his head and saw Hafsa looking at him. Her hazel eyes clash against his black eyes.
"Hafsa!" He whispered when saw tears in her beautiful eyes.
The girl in arms raised her head confusingly to look at him, then turn to look where he was looking at. Shock plastered over her face when saw Hafsa outside of their ward.
Hafsa didn't wait another second and left
"Hafsa! Hafsa! Hafsa, Please, Please, listen to me." Daniyal ran after her, calling her name.
But Hafsa Siddiqui didn't stop for him. She used to love her name from his lips, whenever he calls her, she feels as if she could give him her life if he would ask. But today, she only felt disgust.
They came outside of the hospital.
Daniyal also ran after her calling out her name. They came outside the parking lot.
"HAFSA!" She heard Daniyal's scream. The last thing she saw was a car which was coming at her with over speed.
•••
She felt as if someone is pounding her head. She tried to move her hand but couldn't, they felt heavy.
She opened her eyes, but as soon as the light hit her eyes, she shut them tightly, her head started spinning with sudden light.
Taking few deep breaths, she once again opened her eyes, slowly.
She was still confused about where she was or what happened.
She tried to get up when someone stopped her and put their arms over her shoulder.
"Lay down, ma'am, you are still very weak." This voice belongs to a lady. Hafsa looked at her left side and saw a young lady looking at her with concern.
"What.. What happened?" Hafsa manages to whisper with bee sore throat. She felt as if she hadn't drink water since years.
The lady understands it and made her drink some water.
"Are you okay, Mrs. Malik?" The lady, who was maybe a nurse, asked.
As if the question brought all the memories of what happened.
"My baby? Where is my baby? How is my baby?" Hafsa got alarmed and asked.
"Calm down, Mrs. Malik, your baby is perfectly fine." Nurse informed her.
"Your baby is with doctor for checkup." She further add when saw the crease between Hafsa's eyebrows didn't loosen up.
Hafsa took a relief breath and thanked her Allah. "It is a boy or girl?" She again turned to the nurse, who was nor going through some medicines.
"It is a.." Nurse raised her head to answer her when the door of the ward opened. Making for both Hafsa and Nurse turned there.
He looked tired, as if hadn't slept for days, his messy hair falling on his head and his stubble untrimmed. Even in this state, he looked charming as he hold the baby in his arms.
"What he is doing here?" But this time, Hafsa's heart didn't flutter at the sight, she only felt anger.
"Hafsa, At least listen to me..." Daniyal took some steps in and begged her. But Hafsa looked at the other side.
"Nurse, tell him to leave."
Daniyal took a defeated breath out, this was not the right time to talk to her. Giving the baby to the nurse, he left.
Hafsa stayed at the hospital for one more week, and not for once did she let Daniyal enter her room.
But he was always outside of the ward, she heard it from nurses, he would come to her room when thought she is sleeping, he would hold her hand and would laye his head on the bed while sitting on the chair. Hafsa wanted him to say something to her but he never said anything.
•••
Hafsa was laying on her bed, covered in comforter and her baby girl beside her.
"Hafsa, You didn't have your breakfast yet??" Daniyal came there and asked her.
"I don't feel like having it," Hafsa mumbled, patting her daughter's chest.
"Hafsa!" Hafsa felt the dip on the bed, Daniyal just sat beside her.
"You are not well. You just got discharged from hospital."
This made Hafsa looked at him with sharp gaze, as if asking now he cares?
Daniyal understands her unasked question.
"Hafsa, I..." He started saying but Hafsa interrupted him.
"I'll have my breakfast when I will feel okay." She said, rudely.
"Don't take my anger out on food." Lovingly, Daniyal held her hand. Which Hafsa snatched away.
"Daniyal, I've already state that I am not hungry. I will have my breakfast when I'll feel like it." Hafsa was adamant.
"Hafsa," Daniyal made his voice stern. "I will not ask you again but if you want to know the truth just have your breakfast. I have to take you somewhere."

Harsh rays of sun falls against the car window, as Daniyal drove them somewhere.Hafsa didn't have courage to ask him where they are going. Although, her heart was dying to know. While Daniyal was driving the car in silence, Hafsa was sitting in passenger seat without uttering a word, kids in the backseat were chirping happily.Huzaifa and Ayaan were really happy that after many months they are going for an outing with their parents. Laiba was at home, in the care of her nanny. The car stopped outside of a small house
"I- I didn't know..." Hafsa's throat dried, thinking what her father did to Daniyal, and now she doubts him too."I'm really sorry, Daniyal. I don't know why papa did this... If I knew about this, I would've never asked you to leave your family for me." Hafsa tightened the grab of his hold and apologize."Hafsa, it wasn't your fault." He held her cheek in his free hand. "It wasn't anyone's fault. Your father did this only for your sake."But separating you with your family wasn't right.""Maybe, but it's okay, it doesn't matter now." Daniyal shrugged his shoulder.
Love! A strange feeling. For some, the reason to live. For some, a painful memory. Just like the feeling when the first drop of honey touches the tip of the tongue, love can prove itself sweet. And just like bitter gourd, it can be too bitter at times. Love is really a strange thing. If it wants, it can make your heart prosperous, and if willing, it can ruin your life ••• Sitting on a bench of the park, Taimoor was aimlessly looking around. The chilly wind of December brushes against his skin, making him shiver as he brought his hands up to blow some warm air in it. He forgot to bring his gloves. He didn't plan to leave his office and came to the park which is two blocks away, but the sudden wish of getting fresh air made him leave his office building.
You shouldn't be here, his heart told him many times. But no matter how many times his self-conscious told him how wrong it is, he was here once again, with her. With Daneen, the love of his life. "How are your parents?" Taking a sip from his cup, he asked her. The hot coffee was bitter on his tongue. He never liked black coffee, but now has a habit of drinking it for the last six years. "They are not uh...in talking terms with me." Nervously laughing, she put a lock of her brown hair behind her ear. Daneen was a beautiful woman. Her hazel brown eyes and those high cheekbones could make anyone falter. Her 5'6 height added to her killer figure. She had in possession everything that could make a girl envious or a boy want her.
Many days passed in silence, Nayab was noticing some changes in Taimoor's behavior, he was turning cold and distant, not only from her, but from Qirat too. Last week, he forgot to attend the parent-teacher meeting in Qirat's school, which he never did before. Nayab couldn't understand how to ask him the reason. While on the other hand, Taimoor and Daneen were meeting each other daily, many times in his office and many times in restaurants or cafes. They were becoming close, just like before, as if nothing happened between, as if Taimoor didn't have a wife and daughter at home. All that matter to him was Daneen, and only Daneen. Silent lingers between them as they have their breakfast in silence. Nayab was helping Qirat finish her french toast, while Taimoor was having juice and omelet. From time to time, he would raise his eyes and glance at Nayab, like he wanted to say something but didn't know how to.
The continuous ringing of his phone irked him. Picking his phone from the table, he looked at the screen.Daneen Calling... This made his brows knitted in perplexed. Before Daneen could say anything, Taimoor demanded. "I want to meet you.""Uh? Okay, I am in my office, if you want, we can meet in the cafe..." Daneen suggested."I am coming," Taimoor said and disconnected the call.•••Nayab was packing her stuff rashly, she didn't care to fold her clothes neatly, whatever comes in her hands, she threw it in her suitcase. Her vision was getting blurry because of her tears, which she was trying to hold. She did not want to cry, but she was a wom
The silent room of the dining area was filled with the only sound of cutlery hitting each other, Finally, Anupriya decided to break the silence and called her only son."Dayyan!""Yes, mom?" Averting his eyes away from his breakfast to his mother, Dayyan asked, giving all his attention to his mother."Tomorrow, we have to attend Ishra's wedding, make sure you don't have any important work tomorrow. And you too." Informing Dayyan about the schedule of the day after tomorrow, she looked at her husband and told him too."I'll make sure of it," Dayyan nods his head, and once again turned to his breakfast."And I have told Mr. Kapoor for your suit, you also call him and tell him what kind of
