Episode 15

The next morning, bright and early as the day, I went out wearing a tracksuit and a pair of running shoes. I informed Thomas that I was out for a jog and a cup of coffee at the nearest coffee shop.

My heart was pounding as I jogged from the house to the café shop that was almost four miles away. But as I sighted the blue and white umbrellas perched on the little wooden tables and chairs that dotted the front of the little café, I stopped and grinned as I looked at the elegant cream teacup designs on the glass door. The scent of freshly grounded coffee and baked goodies welcomed me as I opened the door.

I was extremely delighted when I discovered that my favourite coffee place was not so far away from my new home.

I usually flew in to patronize the place and I greeted the few staff around, Bianca was already waving happily at me.

“Let me just get my order, I will be joining you shortly.” I waved back at her and found my way to the counter.
