Episode 52

I felt something on my skin, I shoved it off, rolled over to another position, I couldn't fathom what it was. I ignored, not minding anything. Then a shrill sound like the squeaking of a mouse in a cupboard broke the silence of the room, disrupting the stability of my mind at peace. I shrieked, trying to close my ears. My eyes still shut, but shrinked tighter in split seconds.

"What?!" I hopped, sat with one side of my butt, turned to glare at where I was lying, but I couldn't see anything.

I wiped my eyes with the back of my palm, vigorously, thinking I was blind, I still couldn't see anything. I swept my hands- my palm over my seat, then I realized it was a mini bed. "What. The. Hell..!" I screeched, but softly.

I wasn't blind, that was the fault of the room. It was completely black. I screamed, trying to call for help, but the sound of a fallen steel blasted me instead.
