"Why the fuck do we have to do a hundred-word essay about other creatures when we don't even see any of them?" Mirco grumbled in a low voice as to not get scolded by the Librarian.

I nudged him on his side, "Stop complaining. It's not like your complaints can stop the professors from making us do this."

He just frowned even more.

"Besides, I don't think you'd want to meet other creatures," I added, making both of them turn to me with an equally curious look on their faces.

"How can you say so?" Zen asked.

"Well, I met one, and I wished I didn't," I casually responded.<

I think it's odd that they ask to court her and she proclaims they don't even love her. That's putting the horse before the cart. Surely the purpose of them courting her, is for them all to become better acquainted and to spark the falling in love stage. That question seems very childish
