I wanted to lie, but looking at his face, it seemed he already knew some of what transpired recently, but I went on to lie to avoid being ashamed.

"I am already tired of being escorted all the time—I mean, I need some freedom so I can enjoy my privacy, just like we had just enjoyed right now." I paused and walked around him, caressing him.

"I'm already upset by too much security watching over me, or don't you like what we just did?" I replied, winking at him, but he didn't seem satisfied by my sweet lies; his face remained stern, which scared me more.

"Luna Helen, what transpired in the pack after I went missing?" he asked, this time with a mean voice.

I started fidgeting, which made me do what I vowed earlier not to do—something that made me submit my body to him.

"I'm sorry, Rick, that I lied to you. Honestly, the pack is in a catastrophic state; immediately after your parent's elimination, troubles started coming here and there," I tried to explain.

He started smiling
