Chapter 126: The Mistake

What's happening to me? I asked myself with a confused look on my face as I felt another surge of energy flow through my veins, renewing the energy and strength that I'd lost.

I screamed out in pain as my bone cracked and my stomach burned with excruciating pain. I placed my hand on my stomach and clutched it tightly until the pain subdued and died down like nothing ever happened.

I staggered back to my feet and held my stomach. Surprisingly, I didn't feel any pain in my abdomen. It seemed the poison had been erased from my stomach, and that meant only one thing, what Alessia did was right. She didn't poison me.

My heart skipped in fear as these thoughts crossed my mind. "Gideon," I called in a cold and fierce tone. The door pulled open with a creak sound and Gideon rushed into the room.

"What's wrong, Alpha?" He asked worriedly.

"Your body… the poison?"

"Yeah. I'm fine. It has been erased by that antidote," I said, and he stared at me with a surprised look.
