"Happy reunion. Congratulations," I said and clapped my hands as I walked into the dining room and met both of them kissing each other passionately.

They pulled away from the kiss and turned to me with a smile beaming on their faces. The smile wiped from his face the moment he saw the sadness in my eyes and he looked away. I could tell that he was feeling guilty the same way I was trying to endure the pain that was stinging my pain.

I thought I was going to be happy and relieved after he reconciled with his mate but I didn't know this was how it was going to feel. I didn't know it was going to be painful. I didn't know that I was hurting myself indirectly.

I wished I could turn back the hand of time and make things right but it was too late to do such a thing. It was too late to cry over the spilled milk.
