“Lucas?” My eyes widened in shock as my gaze landed on the person that I took as a friend not as a Beta, who was making out with my girlfriend, Jessica.

I wasn't angry or hurt that he was making out with her because she was his mate but I was angry to think that he could have a hand in my death. He chose his mate over me and betrayed me.

I didn't believe it when I was told by the Blood Triplets until I saw it myself. My heart burned with an excruciating pain, and slowly, it turned with rage. The rage to tear them apart limb by limb.

Ahh. I clenched my fist and bit on my lower lips, forcing back the tears that threatened to pour from my eyes. It was hard to believe that he could choose love over me and even still betray me despite our years of friendship.

“What!” They gasped out in shock and shuddered in fear clutching the duvet to themselves even though I'd already seen them.

“Asher?” They called out with a shocked expression on their faces.
