Chapter 24: The Evil Plan

I slumped hard on the cold floor with a cold and solemn look on my face. I tightened my knuckles and bit my lower lips as I caressed my neck which burned with excruciating pain.

I find it hard that Damien could do such a thing to me. He hadn't raised his hand to touch me before but he strangled me and tried to kill me.

My heart skipped as the memory kicked inside my head. I have never seen such a side of him before until now, and it's all because of her, Alessia.

She was the reason why he lashed out and attacked me. She is the reason why I'm in pain.

I grunted out in pain as I tried to get up on my feet. My body was aching in pain. He has drained my strength away. I'm glad that he didn't kill me. I had thought I was going to die.

My neck refused to heal because it got injured by an Alpha claw. It will take my neck seven days to heal because his claws are venomous.

"You're going to pay for this, Alessia," I cursed beneath as I staggered back to my feet.
