Chapter 100: Reconnaissance

There was a stretching sensation, and then a sudden snap, and I felt my body and my mind become two separate entities.

There was nothing to see or do, I could only feel, so I focused my mind on what I wanted. I needed to find the Nightshade pack. I needed to know where they were and what they were planning.

I could feel air moving against my skin, but it wasn’t necessarily cold. Was a breeze blowing, or was I moving? I was still shrouded in darkness, so I had no idea, but I did my best to ignore the sensation and focus on finding the Nightshade pack.

Slowly, my eyes began to focus, and a very faint light illuminated the area around me. I felt the earth beneath my feet, and I could smell the damp air. I recognized that smell. I reached a hand out and felt cool earth beside me.
