Ryan had fallen asleep and honestly I had too but it was difficult to stay asleep. I kept on having nightmares on different occasions in my life and waking up all sweaty. It was by a thread that I hadn't punched him in the throat during one of my fits.

He wouldn't have judged me too harshly but that wasn't something I wanted to do to someone that had been nothing but kind to me.

And honestly I was starting to think I was actually his mate like he said but without my wolf to confirm, it was just a fantasy. I wasn't afraid to admit to myself that I had started to have feelings for him.

I would have stayed at that corner watching him sleep for hours without feeling tired. He looked so innocent and young when asleep, his hair falling over his face and the way he snored softly.
