Chapter 65. Helena POV

I backed away, allowing Azalea to head towards Ivan, witnessing him attempting to take the reins of the relationship for the first time. He was such a kind, positive guy I imagined he helped Azalea willingly. How much he knew he was going against Alexander I couldn't tell yet.

Angry hearts reveal deep truths though and soon a full-scale row developed.

"Ivan, calm down, let's talk about this. I have never lied to you, you are my mate."

"Never lied to me? Then where were you that afternoon in Five Lakes when I was searching everywhere for you?"

She coloured and tucked her hair behind her ear quickly. "I got lost!"
