48. Questioning and torturing

ALPHA ASHER’S POV

Still debating on my options, I turned towards William. He was still speaking, giving me reasons why I should not leave the boundary without killing Edward or the idiot as he said. It looked like there was still more drama to come despite what we had witnessed during the day and the night before.

"So what are you going to do about it?" William asked me. I was lost in thought and didn't respond until he had touched my shoulders, waking me from my reverie. I swerved sharply towards him and arched my brows for him to repeat what he had just said. He asked me again and I told him to wait for a response.

Crossing his arms in front of his bulging chest, he walked back to stand near the cobblestone wall, watching the silhouettes of the three men as they retreated into the dungeon, glancing at me impatiently as if Edward was walking towards his freedom. After some time I made a choice and that choice was dealing with Edward immediately.
