Zurig left the moment after I agreed and I looked at his disappearing figure before he stepped out from behind a tree in his wolf form. Yeah, it sucks when you don’t have magic. Or that is what I learned it is called. I just call them powers. I looked at the cave again and saw Carla going closer.

“What do you think is in there? Our King told me that it is not something that he has smelled before. It is not a rogue, nor wolf or lycan,” Carla asked as she tried to see what was going on inside. Luckily she has a flashlight with her and gan use it as we go exploring.

“Have you ever smelled anything like this?”

“No, I have not. This is the first time I have smelled something like this. Can’t say if it human or not,”

“Wow, no trace of a human scent either?”

“This is what pulled our attention to the scent in the first place. And I take it that I am the best tracker in the pack currently, so that must be the reason why I was asked to do this.”
