Chapter 35 - Trying to Sleep

We arrived at the pack house and since it was late night, we got everyone in their beds before I returned to mine after greeting everyone good night. Urg, I am not tired yet. The adrenaline from the fight is still in my system. I rolled on to my side and Saw Chris’s bookstand. She once said I could read any of her books if I wanted to. Maybe I should read something to calm myself down. I got up and walked over to the bookstand. I just picked one at random and went back to my bed.

I didn’t even read the title of the book. I just opened in on a random page and began to read it.
