Book 2: Chapter 35

Willow POV

Curled up in a comfortable chair in the farmhouse, I continue my knitting project. I have decided to make a blanket for Osiris’s bed. It will be a surprise for him. I don't know when his birthday is, but I have decided to treat him like my mate. Which means I don't need a reason to surprise him with a gift.

The farmhouse is quiet today. The only sound that fills the room is the clicking of my knitting needles together while I hum to myself. I know that I am supposed to be out mingling with the members of the rogue colony, but I am not comfortable putting myself out there yet.

‘I don't know why you are fighting role within this colony,’ the annoying voice inside my head chimes in. ‘You are meant to be their Luna.’

Glancing around the room, I make sure no one is around before I respond. “I wish you would stop talking to me,” I whisper. “I am beginning to feel crazy.”
