Our pack had come full circle and I didn’t realize it until that very moment. We went from killing all the werewolves to mating them, and making them our family. I was so proud of my family and Andre that I didn’t even have the words. Two kingdoms became one and peace reigned after the vampires and slave masters were killed. The last rogue groups were taken care of and the people on the outer reaches of the kingdom were finally safe. It almost felt as if this peace was too good to be true.

As we arrived at our destination, I noted the heat was stifling compared to the cool breeze on the boat. It was mid-summer, and before we knew it winter would be upon us. The strong scent of herbs and spices in the market made me sneeze and Andre laughed at me, but I didn’t feel offended. Now that we had gotten past all of our issues, we were so relaxed in each other’s company.
