I zone in and out as my father’s personal assistant drones on and on about the report that I submitted after saving the outer village from the plague. Why the hell did I need to be here for this when I was the one present for the whole thing was beyond me, but my father insisted that I attend. Because of that, I left Rosalie alone in the morning with a promise from Chanel that she would come accompany her.

Right now, the only thing I cared about was whether or not there were any leads toward where my sister was and getting back to Rosalie. And since nothing was being said in regards to Annemarie, getting back to Rosalie was my biggest priority.
