Obviously, that was my response to all Davina had to say. Who else would face Byron if not me?

No one else has a chance at surviving a diel with Byron and I wouldn't be locked away in a safe place while my people fight a lost battle.

I also won't want to be back within the house of purity while I feel Kovan's excruciating pain. I didn't want that. I couldn't take that anymore. The fact that I knew that my mom must have felt the same pain but a more intense version of it when my dad died, made me wince.

My lips thinned as I wondered why Davina hasn't spoken about the possibility of my mom being somewhere within the House Of Healer. In fact, I was still wrapping my head around that but here I was, preparing to face a Royal Lycan Male who has become a demon.
