35. Mysterious Reaction

AMANISA’S POV

I had him where I wanted him to be.

He had fallen for me and for a second, I tagged him stupid because if he wasn't stupid, how could it be so easy to fool him?

“Did you bring any of your human realm clothes with you? I want to sleep beside you in one of them… this doesn't suit you.”

He had whispered to me last night after we shared a kiss that almost made me believe that I was the stupid one. I hated the kiss but I loved it as well… I loved the way we fitted perfectly and without effort.

A kiss from him was enough to make me become a loser and even though I was contemplating digging my claws deeper into him, I couldn't help but weigh the words he said to me last night. He looked sincere and all trustworthy but didn't I look the same when I lied to him?
