Danger. Dread. Death.

“What could they mean altogether?”

Arla who hasn't been speaking to me suddenly had something to say after Kovan told me that he was sent a letter with those three threatening words.

They had to be a threat. I mean, why would I send this to someone if I was trying to warn them? Especially when I didn't add any warning words like; “Be observant.” … “You will be betrayed.”... “Stay alert.”

Nothing like that was in the letter according to Kovan.

“Which would you think would happen first?”

I asked rhetorically, stating the remaining content of the letter but Kovan nodded anyways. He also mentioned that the letter made it known that all would happen regardless of what his choice could have been.
