ELORA~•~ The sun always looked very bright and pretty at mid-day. I always envied how free it was, up there in the sky, with little or no worries. I sat down on my reading desk, and stared out of the glass window. The book I had buried my eyes in after I returned from breakfast with my siblings, was closed on the table in front of me. While I continued to day dream of a life where I would be as free as the sun, a life where I would not be branded a traitor's daughter, a life where I meant more to the king than a slave breeder, my door flung open with full force. Alarmed, I turned sharply in the direction of the twin doors, blaming myself for not locking it after entering. However, my panic died down once I caught sight of Lucy. She jumped and hopped, as gracefully and blissfully as a kangaroo, towards me. "Oh! Elora! You would not ever believe what just came in!" She called out to me. Her doe eyes were bright with joy, brimming with happiness. She stood beside me, and placed a
ELORA~•~ "A walk? Sure!" Lucy replied, quite heartily. She looked towards the door, and started to walk away, but I had a question - a very important one - that prompted me to call her back. The answer was important, and would be a huge determiner of my next course of action. "Lucy," She stopped on her tracks and turned to me. I watched how she held the sides of her dress. "Can I ask you a question?" Lucy looked over me. A hint of worry flashed in her eyes, before she took three steps closer to me. Perhaps my facial expression had sent a wrong signal. I managed a small smile. Her previously tensed shoulders relaxed. My fingers locked on their own accord. The thought of the question alone…"Do you…? Has there ever been a lycan king who…who found his mate?" I blurted out. It was only after the question had escaped my lips, that I mustered the courage to look into her eyes. They sparkled with amusement. Lucy threw her head back in a short laughter. She waved her hand at me,
ELORA~•~ I did not stop clutching the sides of my dress. My heart flipped in my chest when Gael's back crashed against the hard wall. "Gael!" I heard myself scream. What was happening? When he cried out in pain, I clenched my fists, seething in mine. He fell on to the floor, his face kissed the dust of the ground. My fingers trembled by my sides. It was only at that moment that I tilted my neck to look at his assailant. The king hovered over his pitiful frame. He was taller and fiercer than I had ever seen him. The golden rays of the sun illuminated his eyes, causing them to sparkle with pure rage unlike any I had ever seen. My heart shrank in my chest. Beads of sweat trickled down my forehead, my damp fingers could not release my dress. The king picked Gael up with his head. I watched as he was lifted from the floor, his feet danced in the air while he fought to set himself free from the king's grasp. He could not outdo the king's strength. King Rome clasped a firm right
The king's desire multiplied immediately he tasted her cherry red lips. From the second he had placed her on his bed, everything in him had sought to tear her clothes off and fuck her right there and then. Everything else be damned. Finally, desire had won. It was impossible for him to think straight. Her lips parted, granting him easy entrance. He sucked on her lower lip, nibbling the moist skin that sought to drive him mad.His firm hand reached for her chest, and clasped her right breast. Flushed, she moaned against his lips. Rome groaned, pressing his lips against her lower jaw. The sound threatened to drive him over his edge of madness. Heavens! He fucking loved it when she moaned. Squeezing on more, he raised his lips to the back of her right ear. He recalled the hands of the filthy man on her skin, the bruises he had caused. Rome's rage lit up, spreading through every part of his mind. "Do you feel this?" He squeezed harder, while whispering into her ear. Elora threw h
ELORA~•~ The cold wind kissed the tip of my nose. My nostrils reacted in that instant, and I sneezed, dragging myself back to the land of the conscious. I had fallen asleep after the king and I…I stopped the thought. A tidal wave of panic washed over me. I forced my eyes open, and looked around to take in the sight of my surroundings. My gaze met familiar walls, and draperies. The tension that had built in my stomach reduced, and I found myself being able to breathe. Slowly, I pulled myself up from the soft bed. I turned to my right and placed my feet on the ground as I stared out of the window. I was in my room, but the king and I…I shook my head to force the thought out of my mind, but not before I felt heat rise from the pit of my stomach, and spread through my cheeks. I could tell I was as red as a tomato fruit without looking at myself. I heaved a sigh and thought of getting back into bed, when I heard my wolf whimper softly within me. I raised my right hand to be ches
The king smiled to himself as he watched her sleep. Her long hair scattered all over his pillow, with free strands covering her face. She looked so at peace. Rome was not sure he had seen her look this way in a long while. He reached for her soft cheeks and pushed the hair away to get a clearer view of her thick and lush lashes. He could sit and watch her sleep for hours on end. The door of his chambers suddenly pushed open. Rome jerked his head up to stare at the intruder. His tense shoulders fell with ease when he saw Teriel. The man walked into the room with a bold stance. He looked down at the king's bed, and blood drained from his face instantly. His gaze dropped to the ground, the king smiled. "My apologies, your majesty. I thought that…" "It's alright, Teriel." Rome replied, dismissing the rest of the man's statement with a wave. He chuckled, and Teriel raised his eyes to the king. "I came here, your majesty, because I needed to inform you of something very important."
ELORAI toss and turn in my bed, poring over my conversation with Gael earlier. Could he really know where my mother is? Should I trust him after hurting me earlier?I shivered when I remember how cold his dark eyes had been earlier when he accused me of replacing him as my guard. It had looked like he...hated me and not at all like the charming Gael I had known.Even this evening when he had come into my chambers, he had looked different. Desperate even.Could I really trust him enough to return to Alkarod? What if it was a trap?I turned to face my balcony, staring at the stars visible in the darkened night sky. I had too much to lose of this gamble didn't pay off. Could I really abandon my siblings to the king's whims? He had threatened earlier that he'd kill whoever places hands on me, what will he do to them if he finds out I ran off with Gael? He'd never believe that I only went to save my mother. "Oh, mother." I sighed.Would she even forgive me for charging blindly to come sa
ROME Rome stared down at Elora as she slept in his arms, drained from their intense love making the night before. Conflicting emotions warred within him as he admired the tranquility on her face. Bruises from their love making marred her creamy skin but they only made her look even more beautiful than ever.Last night had been monumental and it only served to confirm that indeed she was his mate. If that hadn't been true, his beast would have torn her to pieces with the mood he was in. She had looked so glorious naked in the moonlight that he couldn't resist her.Even now as he thought back to her creamy smooth skin bathed in the glow of the moon, his desire was quickened for her again.Would this ever end?Would he always lust after her as he did now? A cold draft passed over them and he saw her shudder, drawing closer to him.He needed to get her inside before she caught a chill. He lifted her in his arms and walked towards their balcony, scaling the walls with one jump and lan
