Martha’s POV

I was too angry to speak to anyone and since the leader was sick I had to represent her in the meeting with the alpha.

I was about to leave when I heard someone call my name.

I ignored it and kept wearing my clothes as I looked at the wall clock in my room. It was almost time for the morning meeting.

A loud bang on my door had me shuddering to reality as I turned to see indigo standing there.

If she was there to fight with me, I swore to give her the piece of me she wouldn’t like and I was sure I would make sure she regretted it.

“What do you want?” I asked while looking into the mirror. I didn’t want to look at her. I was too mad to think straight.

“I’m here to apologize.”

“It’s too late. You shouldn’t be out of the healer's place until you’re done.”

“Can we at least talk?” She entered my room without permission. She was the leader of the given anyway. She could do whatever she wanted whenever she wanted.
