Sinclair’s POV

Now I regret pushing aside Martha. She would have been a wonderful asset to me.

Damien chuckled while talking to Sullivan. They pointed to me with a loud laughter escaping their lips. I looked at the other rogue beside them and found him flinching before me. He was scared. Good. The weak link I needed to tear through them.

“Are you reflecting on the past?” laughed Sullivan. “Please don’t do that. It only makes this moment bad. I mean, look around, your men are either dead or too injured to do anything. They are dead either way.

“You can’t call for backup because we placed a device in the mountains to jam signals even from satellite phones. You will die either way.”

“Who put you up to this?” I asked, curious as to how these men had combined forces to attack me. They wouldn’t have done it except someone who really hated me told them to do it.

“Look at him,” laughed Damien. “What is he going to do? Go super dog on us and kill us? He has wolfsbane flowing through his veins
