"You're leaving tomorrow morning.." I said, indirectly refusing his invitation. "You need to rest."

"I can leave on the afternoon if I want, Genevieve." He responded. "Do you not want to come with me?"

I bit my bottom lip, as I started to look away from his gaze. Moon Goddess, it was... mesmerizing. I felt like it was taking me in with its depths that I wouldn't be able to breathe properly.

I deeply inhaled. "I was only thinking about your health."

"Well, I'm thinking about spending the rest of the night with you," he casually said.
