Julian was escorted out first. She was flung onto the stage like a piece of brick. Heavy, yet useless. Her appearance was raggedy, and her skin was pale from the lack of sunlight in the dungeon. It had a blueish tint to it. Daphne knew that wasn't healthy. She averted her gaze from the spittle Julian had spat. It contained blood.

"Here is the traitor of Bayview. Have a good look at her because you won't be seeing her again." Daphne boomed at the silent crowd. They haven't been connected with Daphne until she has brought their minds to ease by killing the people who could challenge her. "Does anyone wish to end up like her?"

There wasn't a single noise. Even the children slept soundly on their mothers' backs. "We are bloods of loyalty. We are our brother's keeper, contrary to what your former Alpha may have told you.
