Daphne changed into her wolf the moment she landed at the airport.

The pain and fear she felt as she approached the park were nothing like she had felt before. Then the rotten smell she perceived the last time entered her nose. It was unsettling and gave her the feeling of being hunted.

The black wolves have found her pack.

"Vale!" She yelled in a cry of battle. "Get ready! I can smell something isn’t right." Vale was already beside her, running over trees and bushes. His tongue was out, excited for battle. He was the lead hunter, so he had passed through almost all the training of a warrior. It was no big deal because he will be able to handle himself when the time comes.

The only problem Daphne had was that she wasn’t sure where the enemy was. Their rotten scent filled the air, but that was about it. There was nothing that pointed to their very presence.

The sun had just begun to rise above the east side of the pack. "Do you see anyone around the border?"
