Chapter 14 Arnou's POV

I held the tray that contained enough food for Daciana, Alisa, and I.

I knew what Alisa’s preference was but I had no idea what Daciana would like to eat.

I had watched her at breakfast, she seemed to like all the food served well enough.

As I approached our table, I had to avoid been constantly stopped by the pack members that wanted to congratulate me on finding my fated mate.

I knew Daciana was hungry, and I wanted to serve her the food while it was still hot.

The scene I beheld at the table made me pause for a full minute.

Alisa and Herley were engaged in a passionate conversation, laughing with joy and all. That wasn’t a strange sight, for some reason Alisa and Herley had always been close.
