“Hey, watch your step.” I helped Shayna with the door and she threw me a dirty look.

“For goddess sake, Princess?!” Shayna grumbled, eyeing my hand on her shoulder.

“I don't know why you insisted on leaving the infirmary when you should be there for one more day.” I kissed my teeth, guarding her inside my room.

“Why are you treating me like this? I am a werewolf for goddess' sake, and I'm completely healed.” she groaned, entering my room, her nose in the air, taking in my floral scents.

“This is my first time in this place, it is nice here, compare to the other room.” Shayna smiled, strolling towards the window with her arms wide.

“Do you think so?” I tilted my head, checking out the room like it was my first time there. “I think the other room is nice and cozy. No high windows,” I strolled to her, pushed open the Bay window, “and there's no fear of running into the beast.” recalling that his bedroom was just opposite mine.
