Chapter 75

Nova’s POV

I woke up to the pounding of a headache, the waves of pain reverberating through my skull. I groaned and rubbed my temples, trying to will the pain away. But it just seemed to grow more intense with each passing moment. I squeezed my eyes shut, willing myself to drift back to sleep. But the headache was relentless, demanding my full attention.

“Mmm,” I hissed, pressing my hand to my head, I had no idea why I was developing a headache so early in the morning.

I arched my back, trying to get off the bed but I felt a sharp pain in between my legs, stopping me from getting out of bed.

“Wh-what?” I scoffed, trailing my eyes to my legs to see a purple sheet, covering my body. “Huh?” I winched, trying to remember when I changed the white sheet to purple.

But then again, something didn't seem right. Something seemed off, so I tugged at the sheet, throwing it off my body.
