Aurelia's POV

My head banged as I opened my eyes. I groaned loudly and sat up in bed. The lights were too bright so it took a while to adjust to it. I looked around the room and my jaw dropped as my memories rushed to me in a breeze.

I tensed with wide eyes as I stared in horror at the events of last night.

How had it gone so terribly wrong?

"A party?" I had asked Emma. I found that hard to believe. "He would do anything I ask if I throw him a party? That's… strange."

"No," she shook her head. "It's not strange at all. You know, you're his mate. He would at least expect you to get along with his subjects. Only then would he deem you worthy to be Queen."

"But I don't know about being Queen. I just… I've only thought about being Liam's mate," I had replied as she stared at me with an unfazed look that said she didn't believe a word I had just said.

I never got the chance to explain myself because she began to give reasons as to why I should take her advice and after everything was set,
