Isabella was admiring her reflection in the mirror and thought she looked adorable and smart in her well-tucked-in shirt and stylishly styled hair. She hissed once more at the sight of the high-heeled shoe lying on the ground; if not for her desire to present herself as a typical, fashionable European woman, she would have chosen a flatter shoe.
